Yes. You get 4 free entries when you sign up, plus 2 free entries per tournament every day. Watch up to 3 ads per day to earn 2 extra entries each (or 4 each if you've unlocked the permanent referral bonus). You also get 2 bonus entries whenever a new tournament round starts. You can earn more by referring friends or walking 8,000 steps. There is no way to spend real money in the app.
Heartbeat Stacker has ten tournament tiers: Paper, Wood, Stone, Iron, Tin, Copper, Bronze, Silver, Pearl, and Gold. Everyone starts at Paper. Finish in the top percentage of players in your current tier and you'll qualify for the next tier up, where the prizes are bigger. See our Official Contest Rules for full details.
Prize pools are funded entirely by advertising revenue. When you watch an ad, a portion of the ad revenue goes into the tournament prize pools across all tiers you're eligible for. The progress bar in the app shows how close each tournament is to being fully funded.
Go to Settings > Payout Details and add your UK bank account or PayPal email. For prizes above £25, you'll need to verify your identity and age through Didit (a quick photo ID and selfie check). For prizes of £25 or below, phone verification at registration is sufficient. Once verified, the prize will be paid as soon as possible, within 60 business days.
Every score is verified by our server, which replays the exact physics of your game session. If the replay doesn't match your submitted score, it's rejected. This prevents cheating and ensures fair play for everyone.
Currently, Heartbeat Stacker tournaments are only available to UK residents aged 18 and over. A valid UK mobile phone number is required to register.
Go to the Boost tab to find your unique referral code. Share it with friends — when they sign up with your code, they get 3 bonus entries. Once they play at least 10 games, you receive 6 bonus entries. Refer 3 or more verified friends and you unlock a permanent bonus: 4 entries every time you watch an ad (instead of 2). You can share your code via the Share button or by copying it to your clipboard.
Connect Apple Health (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android) in Settings. Walk 8,000 steps in a day, then tap “Claim Bonus” in the Boost tab to receive 2 extra entries. The bonus resets daily. Your raw health data stays on your device — we only record that you met the step threshold.
Heartbeat Sync is an optional feature that connects to your Apple Watch or fitness tracker via Apple Health or Google Health Connect. Your real heart rate at game start determines a score bonus of up to +20%. Higher heart rate zones earn bigger multipliers, so being active before playing gives you an edge. Enable it in Settings > Health Data. Your health data stays on your device.
You can watch up to 3 ads per day, earning 2 entries per ad (or 4 if you've unlocked the permanent referral bonus by referring 3+ friends). The ad counter resets daily.
Go to Settings > Profile and tap your display name to edit it.
Check that you entered your phone number correctly with the UK country code (+44). The code is sent via Twilio Verify and may arrive from different sender numbers. If you still don't receive it after a minute, try again. Contact us if the problem persists.
You can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Account within the app, or visit our account deletion page.
